Wonderbooks is a proudly South African brand and business that was founded in 2009 by Samira, just a year before the iconic 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Her inspiration for starting the company came from her own experience as a parent and aunt, as she struggled to find affordable children's books and educational toys and activities. She realized that there was a gap in the market for affordable yet high-quality educational products, and thus, the Wonderbooks brand was born.

Over the years, Wonderbooks has developed an extensive collection of children's books, educational aids, developmental products, arts and crafts, and wooden toys that have become customer favorites. Samira is qualified in Early Childhood Development and has over a decade of experience in the teaching field. We are delighted to select items that are best suited to a child's developmental needs.

Yes, we do offer courier. 
2. How long does delivery take?

We strive to deliver your order to your door within 2-5 working days. Orders are dispatched within 2-3 days of placement.

Orders for collection are ready within 24-48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

3. Where is Wonderbooks based?

We are based in Essenwood, Durban, South Africa.
4. I stay in Durban and surrounding areas. Can I pick up my order instead of having to pay courier fees?

Yes, you can collect from our premises, though prior arrangements will be required. Please choose the pick-up option at checkout.
5. How do I know if my order is confirmed? 

You will receive an email confirmation with all the details of your order, together with an order number. 
6. What is Wonderbooks return and refund policy?

• If you are not satisfied with the purchased item, you may return it within 7 days of receiving it. Please note: All electronic devices come with a 21-day warranty. All qualifying returns must be returned in the original packaging. 

• In the event of you receiving a damaged/ defective product or the wrong item, we will replace it with the correct product and pay for the courier costs to you. If we are unable to exchange the goods, we will refund the full amount of the the product including courier. 

• If you are dissatisfied with the product and it is still in its original condition, you can return it at your own expense and we will refund the purchase price only (excludes courier costs).

* Alternatively, damaged, defective, unsatisfactory and incorrect items can be dropped off at our showroom which is based in Durban. Prior arrangements must be made. The return and refund policy will still stand.
